The name “Akhena” is actually a portmanteau of the names of two Goddesses, Akhilindeshwari and Athena. Akhilindeshwari [or Akhila] is a Hindu Goddess known as “The Goddess Never Not Broken”, but symbolizes even when being broken one is still whole, complete and divine. Athena is the Greek Goddess of wisdom, war strategy and the patron of crafts. One of Athena’s symbols is the owl, and blue and gold are common colors for both deities. Hence the symbol I have chosen for the clinic is an owl in flight, seemingly broken, but through the cracks a golden radiance shines through.
